The wait is over! I am super proud to announce that the much-anticipated second edition of Faansie’s Bird Book is here! The first edition came out back in 2018 (before anyone knew what a “coronavirus” was). The book sold incredibly well, and it has been an absolute honour to witness how many new, nature-conscious future decision-makers have discovered birding. Thank you to all the kids, parents and especially grandparents who joined in the fun. The main change with the new edition is that I added Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique – to bring the total number of birds in the book to 842! Also, I’ve hidden QR codes throughout the book that will reveal bird sounds, audio birding tours, tips and tricks, and lots of other fun stuff. Check out the content below for more. I can’t wait to go birding with you!
The 2nd Kids Book is here – yay!
